AXLE Launch Ready is a guided business-development program licensed by AXLE Publications LLC. It helps entrepreneurs research ideas, develop plans, and prepare for counselor conversations.

For women’s entrepreneurship programs, veteran-serving organizations, small-business centers, and community programs.

What participants develop

Research and evidence

Customer feedback, market and competitor findings, and questions to investigate.

Budget and business plan

A working startup budget, business narrative, and draft plan with supporting assumptions.

Pitch preparation

A pitch draft and practice questions for a specific audience.

View seven areas of practical work
  • Starting point and priorities: Initial questions and priorities.
  • Customer-interest testing: Feedback, assumptions, and open questions.
  • Business research: Findings and source notes.
  • Startup budgeting: A working budget and its assumptions.
  • Business narrative: A clear narrative draft.
  • Business planning: A draft business plan.
  • Pitch preparation: A pitch draft and practice questions.

AXLE Program Screener

A shared tool for entrepreneurs and counselors. While AXLE Launch Ready helps participants develop their business work, the Screener organizes business information, programs to consider, and preparation milestones into a Screening and Action Report.

Entrepreneurs use it to prepare focused questions. Counselors use the report as a starting point for individualized advising, resource connections, and agreed next steps. It supports counselor judgment; it does not determine eligibility or approve funding.

Who does what

The course is delivered through Thinkific. Participants work independently and bring selected work to counselor conversations.

  • Participants research, draft, and refine their own work; check facts and assumptions; and make their own business decisions.
  • Your organization and counselors retain the advisory role and set counseling arrangements and touchpoints.
  • AXLE provides the learning product and the support defined in the license.

AI-assisted drafting, where used, requires human review.

Institutional access

A demonstration lets your team review the program before discussing a license. A written agreement defines:

  • Use and access: participants, permitted use, allocation, and access period.
  • Delivery and support: onboarding, organizational responsibilities, and AXLE support and updates.
  • Continued use: feedback, review, and renewal arrangements.
